NBC is sending a team to the Amazon this summer, August 1-9, 2025! We are excited to announce that God has called 14 people from our church to go to the villages along the Amazon River in Brazil to show the love of Christ to the forgotten people there and share the good news of salvation in Him. We still have room on the team! If you've been praying about going on a short-term mission trip or about this trip specifically, we'd love for you to come to our first team meeting at 5pm on Sunday, February 23 at NBC to find out more. Women's One-Day Retreat 2025

Prayer is a gift, an invitation to talk with God. But do you have trouble thinking of words to say to God when you pray? Are you afraid some emotions are too intense to express to God? Do you reach the end of a day only to realize you haven’t prayed at all? You’re not alone. Thankfully, in God’s Word we encounter many voices who teach us how to pray.
Please join us for a one-day retreat at the Solomon Center as we listen to Lifeway women who will help us to study prayers in the Bible that can inspire your own. You’ll learn that God welcomes your praise and lament, your thanksgiving and intercession. You’ll see examples of how to pray when you’re alone and when you’re gathered with others. And you’ll find that when you pray, your faith is strengthened and your heart is united to God.
